I ran into Bill Wolff at the MVP summit last month (March 2007). I told him about my WPF talk I’ve been giving around the US and how much I’ve enjoyed speaking about WPF. Bill is a get-it-done guy so when I told him I’d be in Philly the week of April 9th he jumped into action.
He organized a special meeting of the “Center City’ user group for April 11th and asked me to keynote the evening. He also signed up Jason Beres( Infragistics ) for the opening slot. Jason and I will be sharing the stage again later this year at Devscovery Denver.

Abstract
By now you’ve probably heard of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). But how well do you really know WPF? It’s been my experience in talking to .NET developers that many have no idea of how powerful WPF is. Some think it is a watered down graphics engine that can animate buttons on a form. Others think it is a new API for Vista and has no impact on applications they are currently building.
But they are wrong.
