I think that compelling applications always drive platform adoption.   Give me a cool app that I can’t resist and I’ll do what it takes to get on your platform.  I’ll buy a Mac/PC, download the .NET framework, install the Java runtime in my browser or click a link to install Flash.   Your customers will do that in a heartbeat if they think the reward is high enough. 

Games are one type of ‘must have’ software.  So far, I haven’t found any commercial games written for  WPFe(Silverlight).  I’m not surprised about this, after all WPFe(Silverlight) isn’t even in beta release.  I have found a few WPFe(Silverlight) games though.
